Brad Pitt did not prevent George Clooney from getting a role in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, despite a false report claiming there’s a major war between the two stars. Quentin Tarantino initially wanted Clooney to co-star alongside Pitt in his latest movie, but Pitt put a stop to it due to a “long-running feud” between them. A supposed source tells the magazine, “It’s a real shame because they used to be so close.”
Pitt and Clooney co-starred together in the Ocean’s Eleven franchise and Burn After Reading, but Leonardo DiCaprio shares the screen with Pitt in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. The outlet contends that Clooney is “feeling left out now that Brad and Leo is the new dream team.” The alleged insider goes on to assert Clooney got particularly upset after seeing photos of the two actors celebrating their movie on the red carpet of the Cannes Film Festival.
But this news is absolutely false. Leonardo di Caprio was always the first choice for the film.
